day 61.

It was a hard day.

but i'm thankful for things that happened.

for being in class when he left so I didn't have to think about it.

for a friend who took their only hour in between classes to talk with me.

for being able to go home.

and seeing my family.

for a 52 cent maple bar.

for new songs that are just what I need to hear.
for a bowl of ice cream.
for a text from Janice.
that made me cry. but a good cry.
for waking up and the spirit reminding me to be happy.
for remembering that smiling is the best thing that I can do.
for my parents being supportive.
i don't know what changed their mind but it made it all easier.

and for these cute little letters that Michael and I put together on the door last week
and that made my day today.
